Executive Health Membership Advanced Offerings
Your Executive Health Membership, among many other benefits, offers Advanced Offerings not offered to other levels of membership at Access Healthcare. The reason is due to the extensive time and clinical oversight required to utilize these solutions within the patient care setting. We are pleased to offer the below options included in your annual Flex Allowance of $2,500; should additional options be selected outside the Flex Allowance, we are happy to offer them at cost to the patient.
Biological Age and Epigenetic Testing
We can take an epigenetic deep dive into your health with a simple drop of blood. We now understand that one’s environment controls which genes get turned on by adding a simple methyl molecule to those genes. Looking at those methylation patterns (one’s epigenetic footprint) is truly looking at where “nature and nurture intersect”. The 100 + page biological age report of biomarkers and other insights into one’s health also includes recommendations for foods, lifestyle interventions, and supplements to address the key insights. After those interventions, serial tests are recommended to see if there is improvement in those areas. In addition to those insights, the Tru D report includes a “Biological Age”, a Pace of Aging and a “Symphony Age” which is the pace of aging by organ system to gain insight into which systems we might best focus our efforts.
Home Sleep Study
The quality of one’s sleep is emerging as one of the most important modifiable lifestyle risk factors for dementia, pulmonary hypertension, refractory obesity, and heart disease. Many people monitor their sleep with wearables and are mindful of their sleep scores but our 30 night sleep study utilizes O2 sat, HRV and proprietary cardiopulmonary coupling to give an accurate assessment of one’s sleep over a 30 night time period allowing for interventions (reduction of alcohol, change of meds, CPAP, sleep hygiene, etc) along the way to gain insights into improved sleep. In complex cases, once the sleep data is interpreted by our pulmonologists, there is an opportunity to consult with a pulmonologist to see what interventions might be recommended.
Brain Health Alzheimer's Workup
For those that are at higher risk for dementia based on their genetic testing or who have noticed any degree of cognitive decline, our Brain Health platform looks at biomarkers of brain inflammation and amyloid protein production followed by a PET / CT when appropriate. An hour-long on-line neurocognitive assessment to see where you are from a memory and processing standpoint, and to identify any confounding diagnoses (ADD, sleep disturbances, depression, anxiety, and hearing loss) that might be contributing to less than optimal brain health as well as an MRI of the brain assessing brain volumes might also be a part of this workup.
Blood-Based Cancer Screenings
A blood-based cancer screening is a test utilizing cell-free DNA to look for circulating tumor markers for 52 different cancers with varying degrees of sensitivity and specificity. The test comes back positive in one percent of the general population and would prompt a targeted look at that organ system for reassurance. We are currently recommending the use of Galleri for this cancer screening and are looking at other brands of tests that are coming into the market to see how they perform when approved. For those that opt to do the test, the Galleri scientists recommend that it be followed every year.
Gut Microbiome
Hippocrates said, “All disease starts in the gut” and 3000 years later we are coming around to just how right he was. Considering there are more bacterial cells in the human body than human cells we must acknowledge just how commensal our destiny is with theirs. We all agree that the gut is the source of most if not all metabolic, inflammatory and autoimmune disease its just that coming to an understanding of the proper balances between these 1500 microorganisms is an ongoing intense exploration. And while mapping the microbiome via metagenomics is now fairly easy and inexpensive, the insights that we gain from that process are ever-evolving and infinitely complex. Our gut microbiome / AI platform is a cutting-edge DNA mapping of the microbiome overlayed by AI insights which incorporate the 20,000 or so studies that get published every month on the microbiome through which me might gain those insights Those that are interested in this test have more than GI complaints, they are generally looking for am underlying explanation for their other medical issues in their gut.
Full Body MRI
It seems that full-body MRI scanners are popping up everywhere, and there is much banter out there about the benefits of full-body MRI scanning in the effort to find early cancers which would be treatable. These scans are relatively inexpensive, fast and without radiation and were it not for the concern of the slippery slope of “incidentalomas” (like strange but benign spots on my wife's spleen on her scan) might become standard of care for screening down the road. With this caveat, many patients are reassured by these studies which should be repeated every year if we are going to use them for screening. As a matter of technicality, in our practice, we order Brain and abdominal MRIs along with Chest CTs for this offering as an MRI of the chest is unanimously felt to be worthless due to the artifact of the movement of the heart.
Fitness Screening – V02 max / DEXA body comp Blood Lactate
Described as our “love-based” screening offering, the V02 max, DEXA body composition, and Lactate Threshold are quick tests we can do to see where you live from a fitness perspective presumably to make efforts to improve the numbers. The V02 max, touted as the best marker of longevity, is a quick, but somewhat unpleasant 16 minute jaunt on the treadmill or bike to measure the body’s efficiency in bringing in, circulating and utilizing oxygen during exercise. The DEXA for body comp is a 10 minute, low to no radiation scan which is not only the gold standard for body composition but also the distribution of fat through the body and the Lactate Threshold test is another test of cardiovascular and more specifically mitochondrial health.
CCTA with AI Overread
Most patients over 50 or younger if they have risk factors for heart disease have had a “calcium score” which is a super quick CT scan of the heart looking for mature, calcified plaque in the coronary arteries. The problem is that a third of all major cardiac events take place in patients that have no or minimal calcified plaque in their hearts. What we really want to measure is the predecessor to calcified plaque, the immature, soft, much more vulnerable plaque that can more readily flick off and float downstream. A contrasted study such as a coronary CAT scan arteriogram can see such plaque and with the help of an AI product interpretation, give meaningful scores as to the extent of the process. This test is most helpful for those with risk factors for heart disease, or with those with significant known calcified plaque burden.
Dermatological Procedures for Sun Damage
We offer in-office dermatologic treatments to address sun damage, including discoloration, texture changes, and early precancerous lesions. A full-body skin check for abnormalities, cryo therapy for skin lesion repair, and cancer-preventation by way of chemical peels and sunscreen offer a medical care touch to your body’s exterior envelope. Our goal is to improve skin health, appearance, and long-term protection through evidence-based care.
PRP Hair Loss Procedures & Supportive Therapies
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is used to support hair regrowth by stimulating dormant follicles using your body’s own growth factors. Treatment plans may include supportive supplements or medications when appropriate to optimize and maintain results.
Sclerotherapy & Vein Treatments
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment for spider veins and small varicose veins. This safe, effective procedure improves both comfort and appearance with little downtime.
At-Home Ketamine Therapy with Counseling
Guided, at-home ketamine therapy is combined with professional counseling for eligible patients. This innovative approach supports mental health, resilience, and emotional well-being in a structured, clinically supervised setting.
Nutrition Counseling
Access Healthcare coordinates personalized nutrition counseling through trusted nutritionists as part of your membership. This collaborative approach ensures dietary guidance is fully integrated with your medical care and overall wellness goals.
Weight management with GLPs
Tirzepatide is a medication used to support weight management and metabolic health. Treatment is medically supervised and personalized, with ongoing monitoring to ensure safety, effectiveness, and sustainable results.
Sermorelin and Other Peptide Therapy
Sermorelin is a peptide that stimulates the body’s natural production of growth hormone. It may support improved sleep, energy, recovery, body composition, and overall vitality when used as part of a comprehensive wellness plan. Access Healthcare carefully vets peptide therapies from trusted sources, focusing on treatments supported by science—not hype. We continually evaluate emerging therapies to provide patients with safe, effective, and innovative options.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
We offer comprehensive hormone replacement therapy, including in-office pellet placement and ongoing hormone management. Care is personalized and closely monitored to support energy, mood, metabolism, and long-term health.
Focused Shockwave Therapy
Focused Shockwave Therapy (FSWT) is a non-invasive, high-energy acoustic treatment that delivers targeted, deep-tissue sound waves to stimulate healing, boost blood circulation, and regenerate tissue. It is ideal for chronic, deep-seated musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendinopathies, nonunion fractures, and orthopedic pain. This treatment is offered in-office, can be accomplished within about 20 minutes, and requires no downtime or invasive procedures. The vast majority of patients see a huge improvement in their musculoskeletal issues after a series of FSWT and, in some cases, prevents surgery or more invasive procedures.
